Summer time is coming and we all want to look great and be acne free!

So it definitely sucks when you’re looking in the mirror and all you can see are all the pimples on your face.  Trust me, I’ve been there and I never want to go back.

And you’ve probably tried all the other products already such as creams, antibiotics, eating right, washing your face, exfoliating, and even that weird mask that your mom keeps encouraging you to try with those cucumbers.

(Well hey, it was weird for me ‘cuz I was a dude, alright? =)

You’re running out of options.  You still have acne.  You’re still breaking out everyday and summer is already here.

Point is, you’re getting desperate and you’re running out of time.

Well don’t worry, I’ve been in your shoes and I know EXACTLY what you should be doing.  And I can show you REAL results within 2 weeks.  But I’m warning you, this isn’t another facial cream, wash, or pill that you can pop in your mouth.  I’m talking about actually learning about how acne happens and how your body works.  This is not for people who just want a quick fix.  You’re going to have to put in hard work, do some homework, and actually learn about why you break out.

It’s going to change your life like it did mine.  Seriously, 10 years of being an acne sufferer, that was enough for me.  I was completely ready for this knowledge.

TIP #1: Don’t try and cover it up

It’s summer vacation and I don’t know about you guys but when I was younger, the first thing that I would think of to cover up my acne scars would be to get a tan so that they wouldn’t show through as much.

Not a good idea.

If you do this, you’re not only further damaging your skin through the rays of the sun (trust me, you are) but you’re also not really solving the problem.

On top of that, we all know that it doesn’t really work.  Most of the time you can still see the acne scars because you may have gotten darker, but you’re acne scars have also gotten darker from the tan too.

Plus, are you just looking for a quick fix that doesn’t even really work that well or are you looking to really clear your acne so you don’t have to go through all this trouble of covering it up anyway?

TIP #2: Use make up remover

It’s the summer and if you go out to the beach, pool, or just to get a tan, make sure you put on sun block.  Make sure you understand how sun block works because most of the time you need to put it on 15-30 minutes before going outside and then reapply it every so often because it wears off.

But more importantly is after you get home.  You’re going to want to make sure all of the sun block is taken off your face because there is a possibility that it can clog your pores.  The best way to do this is to use a make up remover on your face.  A good one to use is extra virgin olive oil.  It’s a great natural make up remover that will really help take anything that could possibly irritate your acne.

TIP #3: Stop Panicking

This might be a little bit weird to some people, but did you know that stress and panicking can actually kill you?

Well, other than from a heart attack, high levels and long period of stress can put an enormous strain on your system.  Eventually leading to internal organ exhaustion and all sorts of problems.

But more immediately, you probably already know that when you get stressed out, sometimes you break out with acne.  Or when you get stressed out in the mirror looking at your face (like I used to do) you’ll start sweating and most likely will clog your pores thereby leading to more acne break outs.

Rest assured, there is a solution out there.  And the funny thing is you’re actually sitting on it right now.  This will be the last acne “product” you will ever need.

TIP #4: Stop eating sugar foods

Nicolas Perricone, author of the Perricone Promise and many other Anti Aging books, talks about the correlation between sugar and inflammation at a cellular level.  Acne is inflammation of the skin so if you want to look younger and give your skin a fighting chance, stay away from excessive sugar.  This will really help your body balance itself.  Foods that contain excessive sugar are:

  • Donuts
  • Ice Cream
  • Cake
  • Cookies
  • Soda & Soft Drinks
  • Jamba Juice & Juice it Up (Smoothies)
  • Watermelon, Pineapple, Red Apples, Bananas
  • Coleslaw (I have no idea why this came to mind)
  • Snack Bars & Powerbars (most of them aren’t that great for you with the exception of a few)

  • Snickers, M&Ms, Twixes, Reese Pieces, etc… Candy

Cutting back on the sugar will not only help your body balance in terms of inflammation, it will also reduce calorie intake too.  So if you’re looking to lose weight then this may help also before the summer time.

TIP #5: Learn about the TRUE cause of acne

The bigger picture is something that you want to focus on.  It’s not about those one or two alcoholic drinks that will make you break out.  The bigger picture is getting your body to a place where you’re not breaking out anymore and you don’t suffer from acne.  Then, at this point, your body will be able to handle a few drinks here and there without having it aggravate your acne.

You’re going to need to really clear your acne though, I’m not talking about just washing your face or eating healthy.  It’s about eating the RIGHT kind of foods, the kind of foods that will really help your acne.  You’re going to have to learn about your body and really be in it for the long haul.  You can’t just pop in a pill to be acne free, because that’s not really a solution to acne anyway.  And if you’ve ever tried acne antibiotics, you probably already know that the results don’t last very long.  On top of that, at the very end of those acne antibiotics, you’ve probably done your body more harm than good.

If you still have break outs or suffer from acne, I know that all you want to do is clear your acne so that you can move on with this part of your life.  So I’m not going to try to settle with you with something that’s less than satisfying.

Let’s do it, let’s clear your acne.  I’ve been through all the products, the gels, the creams, the surgeries, the antibiotics, the pain, and the heartache.  As a previous acne sufferer, just like you, I’ve tried ALL the stuff whether it was cheap or … EXPENSIVE.  And I’ve finally found what works.
